The City of Cape Town's librarians marched into South African Library Week (SALW) with a colour parade through the city centre earlier today.
The City of Cape Town's librarians marched into South African Library Week (SALW) with a colour parade through the city centre earlier today.
They were joined by the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Community Services and Health, Councillor Patricia van der Ross, and the Portfolio Committee Chairperson, Councillor Ronel Viljoen.

'South African Library Week also coincides with Fine Free Week, when we give patrons the opportunity to return outstanding material without paying a fine. It's the ideal chance to bring back material and indulge in something new to read, watch or listen to. Our librarians are ready to receive all the items and guide you to more adventures and magic,' said Councillor Van der Ross.
